Taking Maria’s Advice

My friend Jessica was telling me that her company is starting to affix “inspirational” posters to the walls of their new office. I used to have two posters in my office. They never made it to the walls though. I think they sat in a corner for over a year, perhaps longer, since they were neither mine nor am I a huge fan of Monet… though they were a little less generic than supposedly inspirational posters. My office had the least amount of character in our suite until a couple months ago when I accidentally printed out a photo of a dinosaur with Frankenstein’s head on it. I guess that was as good a time as any to liven the place up. So Frankensaur is accompanied by Frangel (same head, cherub body), a three-bird smile, and an Anne Taintor post-it for good measure.
